Programa Florescer prepares children and teenagers in social vulnerability situation for the citizenship and for a better quality of life.    

The program has a Center of Free Education for children from 6 to 14 years old, from both genders, which complete Formal Education besides school schedule.

The Program includes, among other activities offered for free, tutoring classes, informatics, foreign language, singing, choral, theater, dance and sports, with transportation and food.    In 2008, 340 children and teenagers were assisted in Caxias (Randon and Fras-le), 45 students in Ribeirão Preto (SP) and 22 children in Curitiba (Paraná), with a total of 407 students. For 2009, new social franchise of Programa Florescer will start its activities, as in Maringá (PR), with 40, Bento Gonçalves with 80 and in Curitiba more 20 children will take part on the program, with a total of 545 children and teenagers.

From August 2009 till now, the project lead by the ballerina Mayara Machado offers ballet classes to boys and girls from Beira-Rio community at Alec, ZF Sachs sports fraternity.

Although the dance presentations which are the high point of the project, Heliana Rodrigues, social worker of the company, emphasizes that the initiative is much more than a simple dance school, the goal is to show to those children that exists a world of possibilities from their contact with the dance and other artistic manifestations, explains Heliana.
