Pellegrino offers total support to some children in alphabetization kept by Ação Comunitária do Brasil (ACB) in Vila Icaraí, located in São Paulo. The class has 24 children between 5 and 6 years old and in its great majority work to guarantee the support of the family.
The education follows the constructivist line, focused on the global development of the child. Many of the students were guided to the regular elementary school, taking an important knowledge which will follow the challenges of the first steps of the formal education.
Pellegrino pays for teachers' wages, didactics and pedagogical material.
